This position serves as a Supervisory and Chief of Resource Management at the Natchez Trace Parkway and is a member of the management team. The incumbent provides maintenance and preservation management of Parkway facilities ensuring safe and usable recreational opportunities for visitors and staff. The incumbent provides for planning, administration, leadership and management of the Ranger Division. He/she serves a key member of the Parkway's organization and serves with line authority for the Division's operations. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-01/09/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect either full-time or 40 hours per week. General Natural Resources Management and Biological Sciences GS-0401:
Degree:

Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes experience that equipped with the particular professional fields of study and expertise pertinent to the park's resources and themes and may include, but are not limited to, natural resources, agriculture; biological sciences and provide maintenance and preservation management of the Parkway facilities ensuring safe and usable recreational opportunities for visitors and staff. The incumbent provides for planning, administration, leadership and management of the Ranger Division.Involve the full range of environmental, natural, and cultural resources operations and related programs. The incumbent develops and conducts complex, scientifically credible protection, mitigation, and restoration projects needed to restore and /or maintain historic structures, cultural landscapes, archeological resources, ethnographic resources, museum collections. serves a key member of the Parkway's organization and serves with line authority for the Division's operations.Y You must include hours per week worked.
