Part-Time Janitor

Job Summary
Unique Cleaning Service, Inc. is in search of a Part Time Janitor to be a key contributor to maintaining the smooth and efficient operation at our client facility located in Tupelo, MS.
Janitor will keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris.
Essential Functions
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Shampoo carpets
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Maintain inventory and request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Maintain and keep clean equipment and work/storage areas
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
Three (3) years of experience in janitorial work preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Detail Oriented
Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
Good customer service skills.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Physical Requirements
Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting
Frequently lift and or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8am-11am)
Rate:
$8.92
Background check required for employment. Unique Cleaning Services, Inc. will furnish the cost for services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
