We have four OB's that deliver a total of 1,200 babies per year. One of the four delivers 40% and will discontinue his OB practice at the end of the year due to retirement.
The three remaining OB/GYNs are each in solo practice. They take their own call unless they are out of town, each shares in the unreferred call schedule.
Two of the solo OBs would like to recruit partners to their individual clinics. The hospital has agreed to assist with net income guarantee, expenses, relocation, student loan, etc.
Community:
The city population is over 8,000 and county of Union is approximately 28,500. We are approximately 25 miles from Tupelo (birthplace of Elvis) and 30 miles from the University of Mississippi, as well as 78 miles from Memphis, TN.
Toyota opened a production facility here in November 2011 to manufacture Corollas. We also serve some of their supplier companies as well as Ashley Furniture, one of the world's largest furniture mfgrs and employees over 4,000. We are located along I-22 so our geographical location is beneficial. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
