Scope of
position
This position has full HR accountability for three facilities, with approximately 650 FTES and Temps. Responsibilities include the development, implementation and administration of local HR programs and processes that align with corporate programs as well as developing new HR programs and processes at the corporate level. Key activities include recruiting,
employee
relations, performance management, cultural transformation, administration of compensation and benefits programs, management of employee personnel files and data and overall HR Business Partnership to the Plant Managers. 70% of the role is focused on plant activities; 30% of the role is focused on corporate HR activities.
Position / Purpose
This role exists as a key part of the plant management leadership team for the facilities, as an HR Business Partner to the Plant Managers and as a key part of the overall corporate HR function. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all HR activities are executed , administered and measured to ensure the growth of the business, performance of the business, fair treatment of all employees , and legal compliance.

Position Responsibilities
Executes the overall HR Strategic Plan with regard to building capacity, capability, and engagement at the 3 plant locations
Leads local staffing activities, including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling hiring, and onboarding of all plant full-time employees. Also directs reference checks, background checks, drug testing and benefits enrollment
Acts as Liaison with all temporary staffing agencies to hire all temporary employees and ensure the management of them while temporary employees are in the plants
Working with plant management, oversees the design and execution of all employee training and development plans and programs to ensure a skilled workforce
Ensures employee engagement through open and positive employee relations at all levels in the plants. Activities may include employee communications, planned engagement specific programs, conducting employee investigations, administering disciplinary actions and employing union avoidance tactics. Expected time on the floor is a minimum of 60-90 mins a day.
Communicates, executes, and monitors the Company performance management program, including annual reviews, merit pay program, annual MBO program
Key Driver of Cultural Transformation at the Plant Level; works with the plant action planning teams to drive cultural change
Provides oversight and execution of all HR Administrative functions, including communications; benefits, wage and salary administration, payroll, all record keeping, workers compensation and disability case management
Ensures legal compliance in all appropriate areas such as employment law, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, etc.
Works on corporate HR development projects as required as part of the HR corporate team. Projects may include program development, process development, development of policies and procedures, personnel audits, training programs, etc.
May be responsible for some safety programs and initiatives
Position
Specific Requirements: Skills, Education, Certifications
Minimum of a BA or BS degree in Human Resources Management, Business or OD; Masters in Human Resources or MBA preferred
Minimum of 7 years experience as an HR Leader and Business Partner in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with responsibility for multiple locations and at least 500 employees
Minimum 5 years experience supervising other HR professionals
PHR/SPHR certification preferred
Minimum an exposure to LEAN/SIX SIGMA methodologies and tools; preference is to those with direct experience
Strong experience in working with HR Metrics
Ability to form a true business partnership with Plant leadership and a strong customer orientation to all levels of employees and vendors
At least two years experience working in a matrixed reporting relationshipEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
