Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide information about available units - Screen and qualify prospective tenants by reviewing rental applications and conducting background checks - Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately - Collect rent payments and follow up on any late payments or outstanding balances - Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner - Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit returns - Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance Skills:
- Strong knowledge of leasing contracts and property management regulations - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and address their needs - Proficiency in Yardi Genesis 2 or similar property management software for data entry and record keeping - Proven sales skills to effectively market available units and upsell additional services or amenities - Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle difficult situations with professionalism - Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls from prospective tenants and provide information about available units Note:
