- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing systems and layouts.
- Assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut pipes, fittings, and other materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, during remodeling or construction projects.
- Provide field service for plumbing repairs and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Possess a valid commercial driver's license to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a plumbing technician or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with carpentry skills is beneficial for tasks such as framing walls or installing fixtures.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
