Tupelo, MS Tupelo, MS Full-time PRN Full-time PRN From $22,880 a year From $22,880 a year Job Purpose Supervised Living Services provide individually tailored supports which assist with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to living in the community.
Habilitation, learning and instruction are coupled with the elements of support, supervision and engaging participation to reflect the natural flow of learning, practice of skills, and other activities as they occur during the course of an individual's day.
Primary Duties Supervised Living Services Support Staff will teach and support life-skills to residents as directed by the Group Home Supervisor this may include but is not limited to:
Assisting residents with direct personal care Teaching instrumental activities of daily living Teaching activities to promote independent living Assisting with monitoring health and/or physical conditions Transporting individuals Providing other needs as stipulated in Lifecore Operational Standards and DMH Standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish professional relationships with clients and staff.
Acquiring and maintaining a Class D Driver's License.
Working Conditions Group Home Environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
